Mira is a free research tool that helps rare disease patients and families navigate the scientific literature for their condition. You create a profile with your genetic information, and Mira automatically discovers relevant papers, extracts structured claims from each one, and answers your questions with cited evidence you can trace back to the source.

Every factual claim links to a specific paper. Every response tells you when the evidence is thin. No hallucinations dressed up as citations.
This matters because general-purpose AI tools have a structurally invisible failure mode in this domain: they silently cross boundaries between genes, conditions, and variant types while producing output that looks authoritative. A patient researching one gene shouldn't receive information about a different gene packaged as if it applies to them. Mira's architecture prevents this programmatically, not by hoping the AI avoids it.
