Sohail Khalid has been working in the insurance industry for over 26 years. Sohail is currently the Head of Re-Insurance at Askari, a position they have held for 10 months. Prior to this, they were the Joint Senior Vice President / Head of Reinsurance at askari general insurance co ltd.
Sohail has extensive experience in all facets of the insurance industry, including reinsurance, bonds, guarantees, and engineering. Sohail is also well-versed in computer systems and applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Lotus 123, and dBase III+.
Sohail is a highly respected member of the insurance community in Pakistan. Sohail is a founder member of askari general insurance co. ltd and is rated 'AA' by the Army Welfare Trust (AWT). Sohail is also a member of the Insurance Association of Pakistan (IAP).
Sohail Khalid attended Karachi University from 1988-1989, studying for a B.COM in Commerce. Sohail was a member of the college hockey team and participated in inter-college tournaments. Sohail then attended Aisha Bawany High School from 1978-1979, studying in the pre-engineering group. Sohail was a member of the school's hockey team.
