Ray C. has a long and varied work experience, beginning in 2001 as a Research Associate at the Salk Institute for Biological Studies. There, they studied gene expression, transcription and regulation in chromatin DNA and investigated the TGFbeta-Smad signaling pathway. In 2002, they became a Postdoc Fellow at Johnson & Johnson. In 2005, they moved to Multispan, Inc. as a Scientist. From 2006 to 2015, they worked at Shire Pharmaceuticals, progressing from Scientist to Associate Director. In 2015, they joined Genesun Biopharmaceuticals as an Associate Director, before moving to Thermo Fisher Scientific, Transplant Diagnostics (TDX) in 2016 as R&D Manager, Cell Biology. Since 2018, they have been the Head of Cell Line & Upstream Process Development at ASKGENE PHARMA, INC.

Ray C. began their educational career in 1986 when they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Biology from National Cheng Kung University. Ray then went on to pursue a Master's Degree in Biochemical Science from National Taiwan University, which they completed in 1992. Afterwards, they attended the University of Michigan, where they received their PhD in Cell & Developmental Biology in 2001.
