Sebastian Heise

Sebastian Heise has had a varied and extensive career in the IT industry. Sebastian began working as a web developer for Janssen-IT in 2000, followed by working as an owner and freelancer for heise-IT from 2000-2009. During this time, they provided frontend and backend development, IT and internet consulting, SEO, and photography services. In 2009, they joined Webalite Ltd. as a web developer and software architect, where they were the development lead of a survey collaboration tool for ACC (NZ) and PIEF (Australia). In 2011, they worked as a web developer for KIWI Werbeagentur GmbH and as a mobile web application developer for Die Etagen GmbH. From 2012-2015, they worked as a founding partner and technical director for opentabs GmbH and as a technical solutions architect for Freelancer. Since 2016, they have been working as a Principal Growth Engineer, Engineering Team Lead, and Software Engineer for AskNicely.

Sebastian Heise obtained a Diploma in Computer Science from Fachhochschule Fulda between 2000 and 2006. Additionally, they have obtained two certifications from LinkedIn: AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate (SAA-C02) Cert Prep: 3 Virtual Private Cloud in May 2022, and Be the Manager People Won't Leave in May 2022.
