Snehashis Dutta

Snehashis Dutta has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Snehashis currently serves as the Director of Product Management at Askuity since June 2022. Additionally, they are a Product Management Instructor at BrainStation since March 2023.

Prior to these positions, Snehashis was the Founder of Kids Robotics Hub, where they led a team in teaching kids how to build inexpensive and easy-to-use robots using everyday materials. This venture started in January 2021.

Before their entrepreneurial venture, Snehashis held several roles at Scotiabank Digital Factory. Snehashis was the Director of Product Management, Mobile Banking from May 2021 to May 2022, overseeing the enhancement of the mobile banking platform and driving customer engagement. Prior to that, they served as the Director of Product Management, Digital Customer Care from August 2018 to May 2021, focusing on implementing a digital support strategy and launching a Digital Help Centre.

Snehashis also gained experience at NexJ Systems, where they worked as a Principal, Product Management from January 2018 to July 2018, shaping the CRM product strategy for the financial services sector. Snehashis also held the role of Senior Product Manager from March 2015 to December 2017, responsible for managing modules of the CRM product.

Earlier in their career, Snehashis worked at Deloitte Canada as a Senior Management Consultant from September 2011 to February 2015, and at Mediaocean as a Development Team Lead from November 2008 to February 2010, and as a Senior Developer from December 2007 to October 2008.

Snehashis began their professional journey at Verizon as a Programmer/Business Analyst in 2006 and at CAI Software, LLC as a Programmer in 2004.

Snehashis Dutta obtained an MBA degree in Marketing and General Management from the Ivey Business School at Western University in the year 2011. In 2019, they completed the Strategic Analytics Executive Management Program from the Smith School of Business at Queen's University. Snehashis also holds a BTech degree in Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained several certifications from LinkedIn, including Introduction to NFTs: Non-fungible Tokens, Systems Thinking, Artificial Intelligence Foundations: Machine Learning, Learning Python (2020), Blockchain Basics, and Growth Marketing Foundations.
