Suzan Huppes

Suzan Huppes is a professional with extensive experience in social programs and community initiatives. Currently serving as the Coordinator for the residence arrangement for undocumented Surinamese former Dutch citizens at ASKV since October 2024, Huppes focuses on supporting individuals who lost rights and access to services due to historical changes in their citizenship status. Previous roles include Project Worker for Temporary Housing at De Regenboog Groep, where Huppes assisted economically homeless individuals, and Project Worker at LOLA, which facilitates space for creative talents. Other positions include Quartermaker at Lolaland, Program Supervisor at De Balie, and intern at Partos. Huppes holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Geography and is pursuing a Master's degree in Sociology, specializing in Migration and Ethnic Studies at the University of Amsterdam, with additional studies at the University of Cape Town.
