Simfumene Bixa is a BEng Civil Engineering graduate from Stellenbosch University, with a focus on engineering and extensive hands-on experience in civil works. As a Student Engineer at ASLA from June 2023 to December 2024, Simfumene contributed to the development of estate projects, specifically in Box Cutting, Layer-Works, and pipe surveying. Additionally, Simfumene served as a Site Engineer for an upgrade of the bulk sewer line from Gordon's Bay to Somerset West. Previous experience includes work with H&I Engineering, where Simfumene completed vacation work involved in road construction projects, executing tasks such as Layer-Works, drainage systems, and managing subcontractor applications.
