Jim Ashley

Jim Ashley is a seasoned technical professional with extensive experience in technical support and engineering roles across multiple companies. Currently serving as a Designated Senior Technical Support Engineer and Site Reliability Engineer at Cohesity since December 2020, Jim has previously worked at Zerto as a Level 2 Technical Support Engineer and at Dell EMC as a Technical Support Engineer III in various specializations, including Storage Virtualization and Connectivity. At Siemens IT Solutions and Services, Jim held positions ranging from Technical & Operations Manager to Senior Systems Engineer and Network Engineer. Additionally, Jim has been involved in woodworking and content creation at The Wood Lab since March 2009. Jim holds a B.S. in Physics with a concentration in Computer Electronics from Bridgewater State University, earned between 1991 and 1996.
