Farhan Ahmad

Farhan Ahmad is a skilled professional with diverse experience in the fields of data science, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. Farhan is currently serving as the Head of Data Science and AI at HCMS.ai, where they apply their expertise in these areas to analyze the supply and demand of skills and provide real-time data visualization to educational institutions.

In addition to their role at HCMS.ai, Farhan Ahmad is also the Co-Founder and Chief Data and AI Officer at Aslase, a software company specializing in software development, data science, and artificial intelligence. Farhan is responsible for leading the Data & AI vertical of the company.

Prior to their current positions, Farhan Ahmad worked as a Senior Data Scientist at Analytics in 2021 and as a Senior Machine Learning Consultant at Easy2Employ, LLC from February 2021 to September 2021. Farhan also served as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at SmartEnds from June 2020 to September 2021, where they developed machine learning-powered prediction solutions and time series forecasting solutions.

Farhan Ahmad's experience in the field of machine learning extends further, as they worked as a Machine Learning Engineer at ADDO AI from March 2019 to May 2020 and as a Machine Learning Research Engineer at Vadion from July 2018 to February 2019.

Before venturing into industry roles, Farhan Ahmad gained research experience as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Information Technology University. There, they developed an Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) system for Quranic recitation and a hydrophone-based acoustic system for monitoring Indus river dolphins. Farhan also served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant during this time.

Farhan Ahmad's early career included a role as an IoT Engineer at QAIRUS, where they designed and developed a wireless sensor network for an Intelligent Parking System using Zigbee technology.

Throughout their career, Farhan Ahmad has demonstrated expertise in data science, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and software development, making significant contributions to various organizations and projects.

Farhan Ahmad holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from Information Technology University, which they obtained between 2016 and 2018. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Electrical (Computer) Engineering at the National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences from 2012 to 2016.

In addition to their formal education, Farhan Ahmad has obtained various certifications. Farhan completed the MLOps (Machine Learning Operations) Fundamentals course from Coursera in November 2021. In May 2021, they completed the Introduction to Machine Learning in Production course. Farhan also attained certifications in AWS Fundamentals: Going Cloud-Native in July 2020, Work Smarter, Not Harder: Time Management for Personal & Professional Productivity in October 2019, and AI For Everyone in July 2019.

Furthermore, Farhan Ahmad has completed several Coursera courses related to machine learning and artificial intelligence. These include Convolutional Neural Networks in TensorFlow, How Google does Machine Learning, Introduction to TensorFlow for Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning, Natural Language Processing in TensorFlow, Sequence Models, Structuring Machine Learning Projects, Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter tuning, Regularization and Optimization, and Neural Networks and Deep Learning. These courses were completed between October 2017 and July 2019.
