Gregory J. Deye is an accomplished materials chemist with extensive experience in process development and research. Since June 2018, Gregory has held positions at ASM, currently serving as Manager of Process Development after progressing from Senior Process Engineer II to Senior Process Engineer I. Prior to this, Gregory worked at Loyola University Chicago from January 2015 to June 2018 as a Research Assistant, where significant contributions included the design of solid-state reactions and development of methodologies for organic surfaces, alongside responsibilities as a Graduate Teaching Assistant in chemistry courses. Earlier research experiences include positions at the Illinois Institute of Technology and Dunlee, where important work focused on synthesizing polyoxometalate crystals for gas sensing and investigating x-ray tube fabrication failures. Gregory holds a Ph.D. in Materials Chemistry from Loyola University Chicago and a B.S. in Chemistry from Marquette University, demonstrating a solid academic foundation complemented by diverse technical expertise.
