Siim Kasterpalu

Siim Kasterpalu is a seasoned maritime professional and co-founder of Thermowood Decking, established in April 2022 to deliver eco-friendly wood decking solutions for the yacht sector. With extensive experience at ASM Yachts since May 2014, Siim has served as First Officer on vessels over 140 meters and Safety Officer on those over 120 meters. Previous positions include roles as 2nd Officer on M/Y Idol, M/Y Paloma, and M/Y La Masquerade, as well as 1st Officer on Raumacata OY and First Mate on M/Y Tanusha. Siim's maritime education includes a Master Mariner Unlimited degree from Estonian Maritime Academy and a Master 500 degree in Navigation from the College of Estonian Maritime Academy.
