Gopal Singh, Dr. is a seasoned professional in the field of electrical engineering with extensive experience in renewable energy systems. As Chief Engineer and R&D Solution Owner at Siemens Gamesa since August 2014, Gopal leads a global design team focused on new turbine development and global service solutions. Gopal holds leadership roles in esteemed organizations, serving as Chair of the Renewable System Committee for ASME since May 2017, and as an Editorial Board Member for both the IEEE Transaction on Energy Conversion and the Wind Engineering Journal. Additionally, Gopal shares expertise as a guest lecturer at multiple universities, including the University of Massachusetts Amherst and Cleveland State University. Academic credentials include a Ph.D. and an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Central Florida.
