Haofeng Chen

Haofeng Chen is a Professor at East China University of Science and Technology since March 2015 and a Reader at the University of Strathclyde since March 2008, where additional roles include Royal Academy of Engineering and Leverhulme Trust Senior Research Fellow, Senior Lecturer, and Lecturer. Haofeng Chen serves as an Associate Editor for the Journal of Pressure Vessel Technology under ASME (The American Society of Mechanical Engineers) since 2011. Previous experience includes positions as a Senior Engineer at Alstom Power from January 2006 to February 2008, Research Fellow at the University of Leicester from November 1999 to January 2006, and Research Fellow at Nanyang Technological University in Singapore from August 1998 to November 1999. Educational qualifications consist of a Master’s and PhD in Solids Mechanics, as well as a Bachelor of Engineering in Engineering Mechanics from Tsinghua University, completed between 1994 and 1998.
