Yousof Azizi

Yousof Azizi is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as Engineering Manager for Attribute Engineering at Bridgestone Americas since July 2015, holding previous roles including NVH Principal Researcher and NVH Technical Lead. In addition to this role, Yousof Azizi has been an Adjunct Professor at The University of Akron since August 2020 and serves as Chair of the ASME Structural Acoustics Technical Committee. Prior experience includes co-founding Silentium from January 2014 to January 2019 and working as an NVH Engineer at Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais from June 2004 to October 2007. Yousof Azizi earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Acoustics and Vibrations from Purdue University (2009-2013) and a Master's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Clarkson University (2007-2009).
