Chen Zhang

Chen Zhang is a Principal Software Engineer at ASML since March 2016, with a focus on designing scalable image processing software and data pipelines for semiconductor manufacturing and developing machine learning models for image classification. Previously, Chen held positions as a Staff Software Engineer and Senior Software Engineer, contributing to photo-resist damage modeling and multi-patterning solutions. Chen's research experience includes a postdoctoral position at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory and a visiting scholar role at Purdue University, complemented by research assistant positions at JILA and the University of Colorado Boulder. Chen earned a Ph.D. in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics from the University of Colorado Boulder and a Bachelor's degree in Physics from Peking University.
