Ionel Chirita

Ionel Chirita is an experienced cybersecurity professional with a solid background in threat intelligence and risk management. Currently serving as the Manager of Cyber Threat Intelligence at ASML since December 2020, Ionel previously held similar roles at Signify from September 2017 to December 2020. Ionel's expertise also includes a tenure as Sr. Penetration Tester and Tech Lead at Electronic Arts from September 2012 to September 2017, along with an earlier position as IT Risk and Control Officer at ING from March 2010 to September 2012. Ionel's career began as a Network Administrator and POS and ATM specialist at CREDIT EUROPE BANK ROMANIA from May 2008 to February 2010. Ionel holds a Master's degree from the University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest (2009-2011) and a Bachelor's degree from the same institution (2005-2009), with foundational education from Colegiul National Alexandru Ioan Cuza Galati (2001-2005).
