Jacek Kustra

Jacek Kustra is a highly accomplished professional with extensive experience in data science, diagnostics, and healthcare technology. Currently serving as the Senior Data Science & Diagnostics Research Group Leader at ASML since June 2019, Jacek leads a multi-disciplinary team in advancing research and development in artificial intelligence, computer science, mathematics, and physics. Previously, Jacek held significant roles at Philips, including Project Manager & Senior Scientist, focusing on data-driven clinical decision support for oncology, and as Software Architect for orthodontic therapy planning. Jacek's career also features positions in research and development at IEETA, university lecturing at Universidade de Aveiro, and entrepreneurship in web solutions. Jacek's educational background includes a PhD in Computational Geometry from the University of Groningen, a Master's in Biomedical Engineering, and a Bachelor's/Master's in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering from Universidade de Aveiro. Additionally, Jacek has experience as a professional volleyball player and worked various early jobs, highlighting a diverse and rich career trajectory.
