Joris Michielsen, born on May 20, 1985, in Weert, the Netherlands, is currently a System Dynamics Architect for the NXE3800 at ASML. They obtained a cum laude Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Eindhoven University of Technology in 2011, where their research focused on dynamics and control. Joris also completed a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering at the same institution, working on acoustic shielding of high-tech systems. Prior to their role at ASML, Joris served as a research and teaching assistant at TU/e, supporting various engineering courses and student projects.
