Youping Zhang

Youping Zhang has extensive experience in product engineering, marketing, and technical research within the semiconductor industry. Currently serving as the Director of Product Engineering at ASML since November 2005, Youping has successfully built and led a product engineering team for new computational solutions in metrology, focusing on performance optimization and new product introduction. Previously, as the Director of Product Marketing at ASML, Youping managed the product lifecycle and market strategies for multiple successful products. Prior roles include Director of R&D at Takumi Technology, Technical Marketing at Synopsys, and Director Technical Marketing at Numerical Technologies, where Youping led efforts in managing software product lines and developing core technologies. Youping's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California and an M.S. in Management from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
