Kai Wa Yan

Kai Wa YAN is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in motion control and mechatronic design. Currently serving as a Senior Motion Control Engineer at ASM Pacific Technology Ltd. since January 2019, YAN provides consultation and review for the motion control teams and product development teams involved in commercialized machines and prototypes. Previously, YAN worked as a Motion Control Engineer at ASM Laser Separation International (ALSI) B.V. from December 2015 to December 2018, contributing to the development of laser dicing machines and control software for wafer handling systems. Prior experience at ASM Pacific Technology Ltd. from July 2009 to October 2015 included roles as Senior Control Engineer and Control Engineer, focusing on controller designs for high-speed wire bonding machines and various motion control systems. YAN holds an MSc in Biomedical Engineering and a BEng in Automation and Computer-aided Engineering from The Chinese University of Hong Kong.
