Shihai Mao

Shihai Mao is a Senior Mechanical Engineer at ASM Pacific Technology Ltd., with a focus on mechanical design for semiconductor packaging equipment since June 2017. Responsibilities include designing high precision mechanisms and engaging in continuous design improvement initiatives. Prior experience includes roles as an Application Engineer and Assistant Application Project Engineer at YAMAZAKI MAZAK SINGAPORE PTE LTD, where Shihai Mao worked on additive manufacturing and CAD/CAM applications. Earlier in the career, Shihai Mao served as an Assistant Mechanical Engineer, contributing to the development of CNC machines and technical documentation, and completed an internship at Protool Systems International Pte Ltd, specializing in injection molding design. Shihai Mao holds a Master’s degree in Information Systems and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from Nanyang Technological University Singapore, complemented by a Diploma in Digital and Precision Engineering from Nanyang Polytechnic.
