Benjamin Pelmoine

Gameplay programmer at Asobo Studio

Benjamin Pelmoine has a strong background in game programming and web development. Benjamin started their career as a Web Developer intern at Terre de pixels in 2014, where they gained experience in HTML5/CSS3 and JS development. Benjamin then interned at DACHSER France, where they further honed their skills in HTML5/CSS3 development and JS development by creating a responsive bootstrap theme and a customer data management tool. In 2016, they returned to Terre de pixels for another internship, this time focusing on JS/Jquery development and PHP/SQL development.

In 2017, Benjamin joined CNAM as a Game Programmer intern, where they were responsible for suggesting new ways of representing molecules in the Udock software and implementing the suggestions using C++ and GLSL. Benjamin then completed an internship at Dreamz in 2018, working as a C# Unity programmer.

Their most recent role was at Frontwire Studios as a C++ Game Programmer, where they worked from March 2018 to March 2019. Currently, they are working as a Gameplay Programmer at Asobo Studio, starting in April 2019.

Benjamin Pelmoine completed a Master's degree in Game Programming from the Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers from 2016 to 2018. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Programming from the University of Science and Technology of Nantes from 2015 to 2016. Their educational journey began with a BTEC Higher National Diploma in IT & Networks which they pursued from 2013 to 2015 at "l'hyrôme" Highschool in Chemillé, France.
