Fredy Vargas Lama, PhD, currently serves as an Advisory Board Member for the Global Foresight Network at the World Economic Forum, providing strategic guidance and promoting collaboration among diverse sectors. In addition, Fredy holds the position of Director of the Center for Strategic Thinking and Foresight, as well as leading the Master's and Doctoral programs in Business Administration at Universidad Externado de Colombia. Fredy has extensive experience in various roles, including Senior Economist at the Latin American Center for Prospective and Foresight, Technical Secretary of the Government Transfer Process at the Ministry of Labor, and National Director of Foresight and Strategic Planning at Ceplan. Fredy is also involved with various academic institutions such as Universidad del Pacifico and UTEC, providing expertise in strategic planning, project management, and economic development. Fredy's educational background includes a PhD in Business Management and a Master's in Strategic Thinking and Foresight from Universidad Externado de Colombia, among other qualifications.
