Fernando Sobrini Aburto

Fernando Sobrini Aburto is a seasoned banking and finance professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Currently serving on the board of SECOT and as a partner at CIBG since June 2023, Fernando is also a member of the Madrid Directing Council at AED. Prior roles include Managing Director of Corporate & International Banking at CaixaBank and multiple senior positions at Bankia, encompassing general management of asset management and retail banking divisions. Fernando's career began at Bankinter, where roles included Director of Risk Analysis and Director of Major Clients in Madrid. An alumnus of Universidad Pontificia Comillas, Fernando holds a degree in Law and Economic and Business Sciences.
