Mathew Makin

Mathew Makin is an experienced IT professional currently serving as the Director of IT and Head of Support for UK & Ireland at Asolvi since October 2022, while also holding the position of Managing Director at AlarmMaster Pro since April 2024. Prior roles include Information Technology Service Delivery Manager and Service Team Leader at VetPartners Limited, and Information Technology Support Manager at AbilityIT, where management of teams and execution of projects were key responsibilities. Mathew Makin also operated a successful IT support business, Makin-IT-Work, which provided a broad range of services including website design. Earlier in their career, Mathew served as a Prison Officer at HM Prison and as a Royal Military Police Man in HM Forces, attaining leadership roles during military operations. Education was pursued at The Open University and Market Weighton Senior School.
