Athena Olszewski

Athena Smith is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in project and portfolio management across various industries. Currently serving as the Director of the PMO at the ASPCA since August 2022, Athena previously held roles at the Georgia Institute of Technology as a Program and Portfolio Manager II, where responsibilities included managing a comprehensive project portfolio within Human Resources. Athena's background includes consultancy at The University of Vermont, project management for online education programs, and roles in museum registries, where Athena facilitated art exhibitions and collections management at renowned institutions such as The Mint Museum, Center for Puppetry Arts, and Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum. Athena holds a M.A. in Museum Studies from The George Washington University and a B.A. in History from Georgia State University.
