Brittany Benesi

Brittany Benesi is the Senior Legislative Director for the Western Division at the ASPCA, a position held since December 2021. Prior experience includes serving as the Government and Community Affairs Director at the Sierra Business Council from December 2012 to December 2021, where Brittany engaged deeply with legislators and developed comprehensive knowledge of state agencies and regional challenges. Previous roles at the Sierra Business Council included Communications Director and Communications Manager, focusing on communications strategy, media relations, and marketing. Earlier career experience as an Office Assistant at Todd & Wakefield provided foundational skills in case research, event planning, and website management. Brittany holds a degree in Environmental Studies with a focus on Environmental Education and Communication from Seattle University, completed in 2012.
