Cherish Johnette

Cherish Johnette currently serves as the Senior Director of Learning & Development at the ASPCA, a position held since October 2020. Prior to this role, Cherish worked at YMCA of the USA from April 2014 to July 2020, where responsibilities included leading Culture and Engagement as the Director, having been promoted from Senior Manager of Career Development. Cherish has extensive experience within the YMCA network, including roles as VP of Leadership Development/HR at YMCA of Greater Omaha, overseeing Human Resources and Leadership Development for an organization with 1,000 staff members and 10 locations. Additional experience includes leadership roles at Greater Wichita YMCA, including Community/Financial Development Director and Executive Director. Cherish holds an Associate's Degree from Cloud County Community College and further education from Concordia University, Nebraska.
