Donna Lassa has an extensive legal career that spans various roles and organizations. Beginning as an Attorney at the Tulare County Public Defender's Office from 1994 to 1995, Lassa has held positions such as Associate Director at the Mediation Center of Eastern Carolina, Assistant Director of Career Services at East Carolina University, and various attorney roles at organizations including Michigan Prisoner Reentry, Office of the Public Defender in Yolo County, and JVS. Currently serving as Criminal Practice Counsel for the ASPCA since July 2018, Lassa's expertise also includes legal advocacy, contract compliance, and resource development. Lassa holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and a Juris Doctorate from Golden Gate University, School of Law.
