Tom Persechino

Tom Persechino is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in marketing, communications, and equine welfare. Currently serving as the Director of Equine Welfare at the ASPCA since March 2018, Tom implements programs that support at-risk horses and enhance anti-cruelty efforts. Prior to this role, Tom held the position of Director of Marketing at BIS - Technology for Your Information from July 2015 to March 2018. As the Executive Director of Marketing & Communications for the American Quarter Horse Association from March 1993 to April 2015, Tom developed strategies to establish a strong global brand and improve media relations. Tom's career began at Remington Park Racetrack Casino as a Marketing Assistant, where responsibilities included developing promotional material and overseeing guest relations. Tom holds a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing and Communications from the University of Central Oklahoma.
