Timothy Key

Timothy Key is the Head of Business Development at Aspect Biosystems since July 2025 and serves on the Board of Directors for The Metabolomics Innovation Centre. As an Emerging Company Advisory Board (ECAB) Member for BIOTECanada since May 2022, Timothy has contributed significantly to the industry. Prior experience includes roles as Director of Business Development and Director of Business Operations at Notch Therapeutics, and membership on the US Market Access and Value Committee for the Alliance for Regenerative Medicine. Timothy began their career as Manager of Technology and Venture Development at TIAP, following a position as Postdoctoral Scientist/Business Development Associate at CDRD. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy in Microbiology and Immunology from Dalhousie University and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry (Honors) from Mount Allison University.
