Ryan Tucker

Ryan Tucker has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Ryan worked at Aspect Software from 2012, starting as a Software Engineer and progressing to Senior Software Engineer, Principal Software Engineer, and Senior Principal Software Engineer. In these roles, they were responsible for designing and implementing various components and features for chat products. Ryan also customized builds using Jenkins and worked with technologies such as Node.js, AWS Lambda, Kinesis, API Gateway, Redis, and S3.

Additionally, Ryan served as an Adjunct Faculty at the University of Massachusetts Lowell in 2013, teaching computer science courses. Ryan covered topics such as audio and sound recording technology and used programming languages like MIT App Inventor and Python.

Before that, Ryan worked at the Boston Museum of Science from 2010 to 2012. Ryan held roles as Cahners ComputerPlace Manager and Coordinator, where they developed and improved exhibits related to computer science. Ryan trained staff and volunteers, organized events, and worked on projects involving assistive technology and automation.

Ryan also worked as a Research Assistant at UMass Lowell, starting in 2007. Ryan developed web services and user interfaces in Java and Flex, supported server infrastructure, administered CMS platforms, and worked on custom php/SQL projects. Ryan also conducted teaching and curriculum writing activities for middle school and high school students and teachers.

Ryan Tucker attended the University of Massachusetts Lowell from 2007 until 2010, where they obtained a Master's degree in Computer Science.
