Aspen Academy
Christopher Holtzem is an experienced IT Manager, Arts Department Co-Chair, and Music Instructor at Aspen Academy since March 2017. In addition to these roles, Christopher was involved with Mile High Percussive Designs from June 2017 to December 2022 as a Creator/Designer, contributing to the innovative and successful productions starting with North Pointe Prep. Previous positions include Staff Rehearsal Coordinator at Rise Percussion and Battery Caption Head at Rise2 Percussion. Christopher also served as Snare Tech and Music Ensemble instructor at Breakthrough Indoor Percussion from November 2013 to January 2017, and Director of Bands and Percussion Arts Department Chair at Pointe Schools from July 2011 to December 2016. Earlier experience includes percussion instruction at Urbana High School and Calvert Hall College. Christopher Holtzem holds a Bachelor of Science in Music Education from Towson University, completed in 2011.
