Annelise Lobo

Annelise Lobo is a skilled R&D Engineer at Aspen Aerogels since July 2022, focusing on aerogel fabrication and process optimization. Prior experience includes an internship at SunThru, where environmentally friendly windows were developed, and a role as a pharmacy technician at Walgreens. Annelise contributed to research at Union College's Aerogel Lab, producing hydrophobic aerogel films for a senior thesis and presenting findings on photochromic aerogels. Annelise also participated as a Mickey Leland Fellow at the National Energy Technology Laboratory, conducting finite element analysis on power generators. Annelise holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and Psychology from Union College and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Data Science at Merrimack College.
