Aspen Art Museum
Nicola Lees is the CEO and Artistic Director at Aspen Art Museum since March 2020, bringing extensive experience in curatorial practices. Previously, Lees served as Senior Curator of Public Programmes at Serpentine Gallery from April 2008 to April 2013, where oversight included interdisciplinary, time-based, and performance projects, notably the annual Park Nights series featuring prominent artists. Earlier in career, Lees worked as an Assistant Curator at the Irish Museum of Modern Art from 2006 to 2008, contributing to notable exhibitions. Academic qualifications include a Master of Arts in Curating Contemporary Art from the Royal College of Art (2002-2004) and a Bachelor of Arts in Fine Art & Art History from Goldsmiths, University of London (1996-2000).
