Ben Kuehn

AHRS Embedded Software Engineer at Aspen Avionics

Ben Kuehn has a diverse work experience spanning over multiple companies and roles. Ben started their career in 1986 as a Programmer at Wellsource Inc. Ben then worked at ASCI as a Programmer/Analyst from 1989 to 1991. Ben went on to work at FLIR Inc as a Software Engineer for a year before joining Arizona State University as a Teaching Assistant/Instructor from 1992 to 1994. Ben then worked at EcoGroup Inc as a Software Developer and took on the responsibility of mathematical software development for energy calculations. After that, they joined ANPC Inc as a System/Software Engineer from 1996 to 2004. Ben had a brief period of contracting work before returning to ANPC Inc as a Senior Software Analyst from 2005 to 2011. Ben was responsible for system safety assessments and played a key role in the development of a landing system. Lastly, Ben worked at Aspen Avionics since 2011 as an AHRS Embedded Software Engineer, where they developed and validated algorithms for improving measurement quality. Ben also provided analysis and reports for algorithm validation and supported field service in diagnosing and resolving field problems.

Ben Kuehn completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Math/Computer Science at Carnegie Mellon University from 1982 to 1986. Following this, they pursued a Master of Natural Science degree in Computational Math/Computer Science from Arizona State University, where they studied from 1992 to 1994.
