Ijogbe Akhimien

Ijogbe Akhimien currently serves as the Managing Clinical Director and Associate Dentist at Aspen Dental since August 2021. Prior experience includes a dental internship at Terranceware Family Dental & Southend Dentistry, where operational efficiency was improved through patient record management and appointment scheduling. Previous roles also encompass a Medical Assistant position at Carolinas Medical Center-University Campus Hospital, assisting emergency room physicians, and conducting real-time charting. Ijogbe Akhimien has supported research as a Research Assistant at RANER and PFENNIG Labs, focusing on enzyme studies and DNA processes. Additional experience includes tutoring chemistry at the Learning Assistance Center (UNCG) and volunteer work with the Human Resource Center.
