Alan Fitzgerald

Alan Fitzgerald has a diverse work experience in the field of IT. Alan started their career as an IT Assembly and Support Technician at Donseed LTD in April 2014 and worked there until November 2014. Alan then joined Assess Ireland as a Technical Service Administrator in November 2014 and remained there until September 2015.

In August 2016, Alan joined Aspen Grove Solutions as a Service Desk Technician. After a year, they were promoted to the position of Operations Technician in August 2016. In this role, they performed various tasks such as managing the SharePoint system, maintaining the Asterisk phone system, rolling out Windows 10 with SCCM, creating software packages, managing WSUS for laptops and servers, and developing PowerShell and Bash scripts.

From December 2018, Alan served as an Integrations Developer at Aspen Grove Solutions. Here, they primarily worked on extracting data from internal data warehouse systems, tracking trouble ticket requests, creating ad-hoc reports, implementing modifications and coding for reports, designing and developing stored procedures and queries for SSRS reports, and creating and managing SSIS packages for data import and export.

Throughout their career, Alan has demonstrated a strong technical aptitude and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

Alan Fitzgerald began their education in 1996 at St. Michaels College in Listowel. However, no degree or field of study information is available for this period. From 2011 to 2013, they attended Munster Technological University, where they obtained a Higher Certificate in the Science of computing in Information Technology Support. Subsequently, from 2013 to 2014, Alan pursued a Bachelor's degree in the same field at Munster Technological University. In April 2013, they also obtained certification in the Advanced Online Marketing Programme from Kerry County Enterprise Board.
