Brian Tobben

Brian Tobben is an accomplished financial professional with extensive experience in capital markets and insurance linked securities. Currently serving as CEO of Capital Markets at Aspen Re since April 2013, Tobben previously held the position of Head of Insurance Linked Securities at PartnerRe from September 2002 to June 2012, where responsibilities included managing various investment and underwriting portfolios and overseeing the group's catastrophe strategy. Earlier in Tobben's career, as VP of Weather at Aquila, efforts were made to diversify the company's weather origination network globally and expand third-party weather risk capital. Brian Tobben earned a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Missouri State University.
