Phil Jones

Phil Jones is an experienced IT leader, currently serving as the Global Chief Information Officer at Aspen Insurance Group since July 2022. Previously, Phil held the position of Executive Director at the UK Ministry of Defence from May 2019 to June 2022 and served as an Interim Transformation Director at Atos Consulting in the insurance sector for a brief period. Phil was integral to the Prudential Assurance transformation initiatives, leading a £1.3 billion digital transformation program as Director of the Transformation Office and serving in various leadership roles including UK - Europe CIO & Change Director and UK Change Director. Additionally, Phil was the Chief Information Officer for the Insurance division at Lloyds Banking Group, where responsibilities encompassed overseeing all IT services. Phil's career includes significant contributions to application development and data conversion during the merger of HBOS and Lloyds TSB. Education includes a Master of Science in Geographical Information Systems from the University of Leicester and a Bachelor of Science in Geographical Science from the University of Portsmouth.
