Philip Hough

Philip Hough is the Global Head of Property at Aspen Insurance. Philip was previously the Vice President and Senior Underwriter at TRANSRE, where they were responsible for property risk reinsurance and territorial management in Germany. Prior to that, they were a Property Facultative Underwriter at Mercantile & General Reinsurance Company, where they worked on German-speaking markets.

Philip Hough's educational career began with a focus on insurance at the Chartered Insurance Institute. Philip then went on to study German with French at the University of Stirling before completing a German Literary Studies program at the University of Cologne. Philip Hough is now a certified Chartered Insurance Institute member with an Advanced Diploma in Insurance.
