Tonya Malik-Carson

Tonya Malik-Carson has a diverse work experience that spans several organizations. Tonya is currently working as a Search Director at Aspen Leadership Group since November 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Colorado State University in various roles, including Executive Director of Development, University Advancement (until November 2023), Director of Development, College of Liberal Arts (2016-2021), Assistant Director of Development, College of Liberal Arts (2014-2016), and Assistant Director of Marketing (2011-2014). Before joining Colorado State University, they served as the Marketing and Public Relations Director at Curious Theatre Company from 2008 to 2011, and as the Group Sales and Promotions Director at Opera Colorado from 2005 to 2008.

Tonya Malik-Carson completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Religion, Theater, and Visual Art at Naropa University in the years 1998 to 2002. Subsequently, they obtained a Master of Fine Arts degree in Actor Created Physical Theater from the London International School of the Performing Arts (LISPA) between 2002 and 2004. Finally, they received a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration, Management, and Operations from Colorado State University from 2013 to 2016.
