Priya Thachadi is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in social enterprise and impact investing. As Co-Founder and CEO of Villgro Philippines since January 2017, Thachadi leads efforts to fund and mentor innovative solutions aimed at improving the lives of the poor in the Philippines. Additionally, as Co-Founder and Partner at Unlock Impact, Thachadi collaborates with diverse stakeholders to scale impactful solutions. Thachadi serves as Co-Chair of the Steering Committee for East and Southeast Asia at the Aspen Network of Development Entrepreneurs (ANDE) and was previously Program Head at Villgro Innovations Foundation, overseeing post-investment support for investee companies. Earlier roles include Program Manager for the LAMP Fellowship at PRS Legislative Research and managing language programs at the University of Warwick. Thachadi holds a Master of Arts in International Relations and Affairs from the University of Warwick, a Postgraduate Diploma in Human Rights Law from the National Law School of India University, and a Bachelor of Commerce from Mount Carmel College in Bangalore.
