East And Southeast Asia Chapter Head at Aspen Network of Development Entrepreneurs

Salakjit Joy Munthamraksa is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in development management and leadership. Currently serving as the East and Southeast Asia Chapter Head at Aspen Network of Development Entrepreneurs since September 2022, Salakjit manages regional grant programs and leads ecosystem building activities. Previously, in a 14-year tenure at Mae Fah Luang Foundation, roles included Chief Development Management Officer, Director of Operations, Senior Programme Manager, Programme Manager, and Assistant Programme Manager, with responsibilities ranging from strategic planning and project management to overseeing operations and capacity building across several countries. Earlier career experiences include serving as an assistant to the ASEAN Secretary-General and supporting the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand. Salakjit earned a Master of Philosophy in Development Studies from the University of Cambridge and a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from Chulalongkorn University.
