Ricky Dy

Ricky Dy has a diverse range of work experience spanning over several years. Ricky currently holds the role of Lab Systems Engineer at Aspen Neuroscience, Inc. since May 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a LIMS Engineer at the same company starting in July 2022.

Before joining Aspen Neuroscience, Inc., Ricky worked at Ajinomoto Bio-Pharma Services from July 2019 to July 2022 as a Lab Systems Administrator. In this role, they provided support for a MS SQL based Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) and played a key role in the development and deployment of the Serial Forms project portion of the Quality Management System (QMS).

Prior to Ajinomoto Bio-Pharma Services, Ricky worked at Caltest Analytical Laboratory from January 2008 to July 2019 as a LIMS Administrator. In this role, they provided application level support and acted as a subject matter expert for an Oracle-based LIMS. Ricky also had proficiency in writing Oracle SQL queries and PL/SQL scripts for ad-hoc reports and automation.

Ricky's career started at BenefitStreet in January 2007 as a Desktop Support Administrator. Ricky was responsible for providing sole helpdesk support for two divisions, installing and maintaining network devices, and configuring DS3 circuits. Ricky played a key role in configuring the two divisions into BenefitStreet Inc.

Before that, Ricky worked at WESPAC from April 2004 to December 2006 as an Information Technology Analyst. In this role, they provided onsite technical support for 50 client-server users and 10+ remote users. Ricky also set up and configured analog phones and implemented a standalone workstation for automatic printing of incoming eFax messages.

Overall, Ricky has a solid background in lab systems administration, LIMS support, and technical support, with expertise in SQL, PL/SQL, and network configuration.

Ricky Dy pursued their education in a chronological order starting from 1990. Ricky attended the University of Santo Tomas, graduating in 1994 with a degree in BS Mathematics, specializing in Computer Science. Following this, in 2009, Ricky enrolled at the University of Phoenix and completed a degree in MIS (Information Technology) in 2010.
