Jackson Lehr

Co-Founder & CFO at Aspen Power

Jackson Lehr brings almost 20 years of diverse private-sector experience across investment, development, early-stage, and multinational corporate settings—all dedicated to environmental sustainability. Mr. Lehr’s expertise in distributed clean energy stems from both principal investing and development/operations across multiple platforms including regulated utilities.

Most recently Mr. Lehr served as an Operating Partner at Energy Impact Partners (EIP), a leading venture capital firm focused on the clean energy transition. Prior to EIP he served in several leadership roles at National Grid, first across its US-regulated utilities, and then helping to build out the company’s national deregulated business, including cornerstone transactions and partnerships with EnerNOC, Geronimo Energy and Sunrun. Earlier in his career, Mr. Lehr was a partner in GO Ventures, a holding company that incubated energy-efficiency, renewable energy, and other green businesses. He also helped grow the boutique management consulting firm GreenOrder, and began his career at Bechtel working in the field on large civil-environmental infrastructure projects. Mr. Lehr holds undergraduate engineering degrees from Dartmouth College and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
