Travis Spear has been working in the data science field since 2012. Travis began as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Colorado State University in 2012, then moved on to a Senior Data Analyst role at MedAware Systems, Inc. in 2016. In 2020, they became a Data Analyst at Invitae, and in 2022 they took on the role of Data Scientist at Aspen RxHealth.
Travis Spear received their Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences from Colorado State University in 2014. Travis then went on to pursue a Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences from Colorado State University, which they completed in 2015. Travis is currently in the process of completing a Master of Science in Data Science from the University of Denver, which they are expected to finish in 2021. Spear has also obtained several certifications, including the Building Cloud Computing Solutions at Scale Specialization from Coursera in March 2022, the Introduction to Designing Data Lakes on AWS from Coursera in March 2022, the TensorFlow Serving with Docker for Model Deployment from Coursera in March 2022, the Bioconductor for Genomic Data Science from Coursera in August 2021, the Python for Genomic Data Science from Coursera in July 2021, and the Amazon Web Services Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in January 2022.
