Sheila Unwin

Sheila Unwin has been a director of curriculum at Aspen University since October 2014. Prior to that, they were an instructional designer at GT Advanced Technologies from August 2014 to October 2014. From April 2013 to April 2014, they were the dean of curriculum/library at the University of Advancing Technology. In that role, they created, managed, and revised all curriculum to ensure high standards of learning. Sheila streamlined all processes surrounding the development and implementation of curricula, and improved the curriculum rigor and engagement while working with the executive team and the instructors. Sheila also created a system of updating curricula and creating new courses and programs through a needs assessment. Sheila has a bachelor's degree in education from the University of Advancing Technology.

Sheila Unwin has a Doctor of Education from Aspen University in Organizational Leadersh, a M.Ed from University of Phoenix in Curriculum, Instruction, & Design, and a BA from Ottawa University in Elementary Studies. Sheila also has a certification from the Arizona Department of Education in Arizona Elementary Teaching Certificate K-8 + SEI K-12.
