Björn Tomasson

Björn Tomasson has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Björn started their career at Sony Ericsson Mobile Communications as a Requirements Manager/Analyst, where they handled technical customer requirement specifications and acted as a customer project manager. Björn then joined Vestas as a Customer Manager/Customer Advisor, providing service advisory to Nordic customers. At Sony Mobile Communications, they held various roles, including Customer Project Manager/Technical Account Manager, Configuration Manager/Delivery Manager/Release Manager, and Customer Quality Manager (Acting). Björn was responsible for technical acceptance activities, stakeholder management, and product quality monitoring. Björn also worked at Sellegi as a Requirements Manager/Analyst and at Doro AB as a Senior Consultant and Customer Project Manager. In their most recent role at Spctrm, they served as a Senior Consultant, specializing in providing consulting services. Björn is currently working as a Production Engineer at Asperiq.

Björn Tomasson began their education in 1981 at Viken, although it is not specified whether they obtained a degree or studied a specific field. From 1984 to 1988, they attended Tycho Brahe and earned an Associate's Degree/College Diploma in Electrical Engineering and Telecommunications. Alongside their formal education, Björn also obtained several certifications. In 2005, they received a Software Testing Foundation certification from ISEB. Subsequently, in 2015, they obtained an ITIL Foundation certificate in IT Service Management from APMG-International. In 2017, they acquired the Certifies Professional for Requirements Engineering (Foundation Level) from GASQ and completed two data-oriented courses, namely Introduction to Data Analysis using Excel and Data Science Orientation, both provided by edX and Microsoft. Most recently, in January 2021, Björn obtained the Microsoft Azure Fundamentals, AZ-900 certification from Microsoft.
