Joaquim Melo

Joaquim Melo is an accomplished R&D Manager and Senior R&D Mechanical Engineer currently employed at Asperitas since July 2023, with a robust background in mechanical engineering spanning several key roles. Previously, Joaquim served as a Senior R&D Mechanical Engineer at Bosch Thermotechnik GmbH from April 2017 to July 2023, where responsibilities included the specification, calculation, and design of electrical and hydraulic systems, as well as product engineering tools to enhance quality and optimize products. Earlier experience includes R&D Mechanical Engineer at Engenhotec for Bosch Thermotechnology, focusing on gas water heating applications, and internships at Bosch and EDP that involved durability testing and thermodynamic modeling.
